Last month we had the pleasure of having the experience and opinion ofAna Barandica, diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. This month, continuing with our objective of showing you real cases, we have an interview with Marta Miguel, a client who has seen how her acne has improved withupani.
Sometimes the damage reaches the nerve fibers themselves, which accentuates the severity of the disease and increases the patient's disability. But it must be made clear that MS does not cause disability in all cases.
Here we go!
Have you always had acne or has it recently appeared?
I have always suffered from acne. I am very nervous and throughout my adolescence and part of my youth, I have had and have pimples and worst of all the dreaded marks. My skin is sensitive, especially to the sun and stress and I have come to suffer eczema on the eyelids and dark circles. It's been a long time since I've had a time like now, with calm skin, without breakouts and without any type of skin alteration.
Have you been to dermatologists?
I've been to multiple dermatologists and they all prescribed acid-based creams or serums that, while they cleared up my pimples in the short term, over time affected my skin's moisture barrier and had the opposite effect. I don't think my problem is skin, but emotional. Stress and nerves affect me directly. Therefore, everything that affects my protective skin barrier is harmful to me.
Do you think that anxiety and stress have had a negative impact on your skin?
I have a very intense personality: I am nervous, I live everything with great joy at the same time with great sadness, and it is difficult for me to maintain a calm state of mind and not get upset with the different situations that I can find in my day to day. I am not ashamed to say it, in fact I am proud to be able to confess that, with psychological help, I have learned to know how to control myself and my emotions and feelings.
Sport, meditation and Upani have changed the state of my skin and mind. I consider that body and mind are united and if I feel good and calm inside, I will be on the outside as well.
Before trying Upani, what was your treatment?
Before Upani, my routine was full of anti-acne products. There is nothing better than knowing how to listen to your skin and what your body needs. My skin was screaming for me to stop exfoliating it, applying acids to it, not applying moisturizer, and going outside without sun protection.
Since I have incorporated Upani into my routine, I have realized the importance of not abusing products that my skin does not need. My skin is hydrated, calm, more even, and although it is normal for acne to break out from time to time, I learn to control the outbreak, since Upani has anti-inflammatory properties. I am delighted and it is the star product with which I always finish my routine.
How did you meet Upani?
I knew about Upani because my partner bought it to be able to improve the rest at night. What was my surprise when I discovered that it had many properties to calm acne, especially nervous acne. I started applying it and as the days went by my skin was improving. In fact, I was encouraged to take photos and everyone told me what was soothing my skin. I didn't trust him at allcbd oil but it was because I had not been fully informed. I like to read and know the properties of the ingredients. And over time I realize what a great discovery it is and how much it has helped me calm the skin and the regeneration process.
If you could recommend Upani, what would you say?
I have recommended Upani to my friends without any hesitation. They have all asked me to see what product I have used to calm the skin. What's more, my mother suffers from couperosis on her cheeks and, after seeing the soothing results that Upani has had on my skin, she decided to try it.
How is your routine now with Upani?
My routine consists of cleaning my skin morning and night, and then just mix two drops of Upani with your moisturizer, mix and that's it. Skin looks calm, hydrated and luminous.
Is there something you want to emphasize to finish telling your experience?
Yes! I would like to say to people who have nervous acne like me, and that the mask is also our worst enemy, that what is really important is knowing how to control breakouts when they appear. As you can see in the photos, I've been using Upani mixed with my cream for two months, but that doesn't mean that I don't get outbreaks due to stress.
You have to know that even if you have outbreaks a few days later, I can recover my skin. I have my marks, it's normal and I'm not embarrassed, but I've managed to calm my skin.
And finally, it is also very important to apply sunscreen every day.
